Writing a blog post about being thankful might be a little late since Thanksgiving was last week, but it’s still November, right?! This isn’t my official Christmas letter where I recap the year, but I do want to chat about some things I’ve been really grateful for this year.
- My blog and Instagram account. 2017 has given me a lot of growth in this area. I’ve had the opportunity to meet some really awesome people, I’ve been able to work with fantastic companies, and I’ve tried some really delicious ice cream. Blogging has opened up my eyes to a whole new world of possibility, and I’m thankful for everything it’s brought me me this year and look forward to everything it’s going to bring me in 2018.
- Travels to Hawaii, New York City, and Chicago. Sometimes having family out of state is really hard, but other times it’s perfect because I get to visit cool places. I went to Hawaii for the first time with my family and just enjoyed days on the beach. I finally learned how to use the NYC subway system, plus had some delicious treats there. And I made it the Magnificent Mile in Chicago where I got to see all the main shopping and try out a couple ice cream places.
- Friends and family. Most of my trips took place with my family, so I’m grateful I was able to spend the quality time with them. I also moved into a new apartment this year and gained an amazing new roommate. I’m lucky to have her not only as a friend, but as someone who understands the social media side of my life and can make me better.
Now that the month of being thankful is over, it’s time for the month of shopping and gifts! As I mentioned, I’m really grateful for the companies I work with this year. One of them, Jord Wood Watches, I’ve been able to work with three times this year and I’ve truly enjoyed each one of the women’s watches I’ve received from them.
